The Universe 

Stephanie Bennett-Henry

I hope you felt what I felt last night.
I hope you felt the way the universe
fell away and nothing mattered except
the way your breath put life back into
my heart. It was you and me saving the
world with our eyes as weapons and
our lips as proof that everything would
stop if this kind of love did not exist-Stephanie Bennett-Henry
